Yes. Start with your own household plan or invite people using the available household access controls. Each person should use their own account.

Planstead may identify a gap or suggest a follow-up. Not recorded does not mean an arrangement does not exist. Confirm what is already in place before deciding what to do.

No. It records planning information, references and copies. It does not prepare or execute a will, trust, power of attorney or other legal instrument.

The required step depends on the item. Some decisions are completed with a financial institution, some require a signed legal document, some involve a health-care provider, and others may require a filing or recording office. Planstead helps explain the difference, organize what you already have, identify useful next steps and direct you to official resources or an appropriate professional. Recording an intention here does not by itself make it legally effective.

No. Confirm or change official beneficiary designations directly with the institution or insurer, using its requirements. Planstead keeps your organizational record separate.

No. A recorded choice is a planning reference. The required legal documents and any court process depend on your circumstances and jurisdiction.

No. A saved copy does not establish valid execution, current legal effect or whether an original is required. Review those questions with an appropriate attorney.

Record the dates and locations carefully, and ask a qualified attorney which documents are effective. Planstead does not decide that the newest file is the controlling will.

No. Recording care wishes does not create a medical order, DNR, POLST or legally effective directive. Work with the appropriate health-care provider or professional.

No. It helps you organize, understand topics and prepare questions. It does not provide personalized legal, tax, insurance, investment or medical advice.

Access is scoped to authenticated household members and their permissions. Naming a person in your plan does not invite them or grant access. See Security for authorized operational access boundaries.

Ordinary support tools have limited permissions. Separately, authorized technical personnel may have infrastructure access for operational, security, recovery or legal needs. Planstead does not claim that administrators can never access stored information.

Uploaded documents and media use private Storage buckets and household authorization checks. They are not public files. Authorized downloads and exports can create copies outside Planstead’s control.

Do not store passwords, PINs, recovery codes, private keys, full account numbers, Social Security numbers or confidential clinical records. Use the minimum planning information needed, including in uploaded files.

Use Forgot Password on the sign-in page and follow the email recovery process. If you cannot access your email, contact support. Never send your password or a recovery link to support.

Authorized household roles can use household export controls. Review the export before sharing it; it may contain information about several people. A privacy access request can require a different response.

Deleting a household, removing a record and requesting account deletion are different operations. An account-deletion request is not completed deletion. Ownership, shared records and required retention may need to be resolved; contact support for a privacy request.

Optional website visitor analytics collection is currently disabled. Necessary authentication, hosting, security and limited account-lifecycle records still support operation of the service. See the Privacy Notice for details and the visitor-analytics preference.

A signup response does not always mean a new account was created or an email was sent. For privacy, the response does not disclose whether an account exists. If you already have an account, sign in with your existing password or use Forgot Password. Signing up again is not a password reset.

Owner controls ownership and household lifecycle. Admin can manage planning and permitted member access. Contributor can update planning information. Viewer can view household information and cannot edit it or manage access. These are application roles, not legal authority.

Yes, if they accept an invitation with an editing role. A Viewer cannot edit. Review permissions before sharing; do not assume every field can be hidden from someone with broad household access.

A professional contact record alone grants no access. A professional can participate through the same invitation and role controls when you choose to share. Planstead does not create a professional engagement.

Executor Handbook and Survivor Support help organize practical information and follow-up. There is no automatic death verification, account handover or legal appointment. Existing account access does not itself establish estate authority.

Yes. Keep originals and independent copies where appropriate. A document reference is not a backup, and an uploaded copy may not replace a required original.

Yes. Current Essentials access is free, with no payment details required. Future subscriptions are not available for purchase.

The Pricing page lists current free access, including the Plan Book, Family Map, Actions, Atlas, Plan Summary, wishes, documents and media. Plus and Complete are future subscription directions; final feature allocation and prices are not yet offered.

No purchase is authorized by creating an account. A future subscription requires an explicit purchase decision after its terms are presented.

Prices, included features, renewals, cancellation and any refund terms will be presented before purchase. Coming Later does not promise a launch date.

There is no paid subscription to cancel today. Account or household deletion is a separate process from future billing cancellation.

Return when people, responsibilities, property, accounts, beneficiaries or documents change, and when a recorded review date arrives. Choose a review rhythm that fits your household.

They help organize practical follow-up and review dates based on recorded information. A suggestion is a starting point for your judgment, not a professional determination.

Yes. Current private document and media features accept the file types and limits shown in the application. Keep secrets and unnecessary sensitive information out of uploads.

No. Current financial features use information you enter. Financial account connections and broader automation are future possibilities, not active services.
